Sliding Fees to Save You Money
At Instaproofs, we try to make everything as simple for you and your clients as possible. This has led us to cut many of the fees, and hidden costs that often go with other web services. We charge a low sliding fee between 8% and 15% for all orders placed through your Instaproofs storefront. The sliding fees are based on the highest priced item in each transaction, and go like this:

There are no setup fees, no hosting fees, no per-image fees, no monthly fees, and no additional credit card transaction fees. Other pay services like custom template design and corporate web page hosting are available but optional.
Payment
Twice each month payment is sent for all fulfilled orders. If you have an order for $750.00, a payment would be sent in the amount of the order minus the service fee described above.
We do not take a percentage on the shipping price or on the taxes paid by your customers.
Do I have to order my prints through you?
No. We encourage you to use whichever lab works best for you. We understand that maintaining quality control over your prints is something only you can do properly. We currently do not offer printing services, and while we may in the future, we feel that only you can decide which lab is good for you.

Hidden Costs
We do have some competitors out there, and we’re not going to mention any names, but you need to watch for hidden costs associated with your online services.
Expensive Setup Fee vs. Free Setup
Some companies charge $250 just to get going, plus they charge you a monthly fee, and they charge you a transaction fee. Our goal is to save you money, rather than cost you money, so we’re going to try it our way for now.
Per Image Fee vs. Unlimited Storage
One of our best features is actually more of a lack of restrictions. Hard drives are cheap. We encourage you to fill them up. The more Events you post, the more you sell, so have at it.
Transaction Fees vs. No Transaction Fees
Be careful that you’re not paying extra to process credit cards. We use our own merchant account, and handle all the secure transaction voodoo, so you don’t have to worry about it. It's included in your flat percentage.
Customer Service
Before you enter any agreement with an online services company, check the web for reports on the quality of their customer service department. Ask around at your favorite photographer forum and you wont find a more highly regarded service department than ours here at Instaproofs.
